Mr. Jeff Ganeles
Mr. Jeff Ganeles, or “Mr. G” as he is fondly known, has been teaching math at the high school level in our community for the past 17 years. He is excited to bring his passion for math and love of teaching to the Shulamith family. Mr. Ganeles grew up in Far Rockaway and received his degree in mathematics from Queens College. After taking a brief hiatus from teaching to explore opportunities in the actuarial field, his unwavering love of teaching and desire to share his passion with students impelled him to return to the classroom. He aims to infuse his classes with the joy of learning, as students learn to appreciate and master the intellectual rigor necessary to succeed in math. Committed to the growth and development of each individual student, Mr. G works to make all his classes exciting, energetic and fun. One of his greatest satisfactions is to see his students share his passion and excitement for math and to excel in their studies. He and his wife Rina reside in North Woodmere with their three children.
