Shabbatonim and Trips

Shabbatonim play a prominent role in the culture of SHS and are highlights of the year. Students and faculty share תפילה and meals together, sing, dance, play games, and  attend shiurim that reinforce and build upon the core message of the Shabbat. In addition to the full school Shabbaton, students participate in grade Shabbatonim that offer a unique chance for that grade to bond with their teachers and friends. 

Annual trips offer our students a chance to bond in an out-of-school setting. The learning and growth which occur on these retreats provide some of the most memorable and meaningful moments of our students’ educational experience. The trips include:

• Junior End-of-Year Six Flags trip
• Senior Leadership Getaway
