Mrs. Sara Munk | Principal Mrs. Sara Munk is a creative and dynamic educator who brings to her position 17 years of high school education experience and a passion for learning and teaching. After spending a year and a half at Michlelet Mevaseret Yerushalayim, she graduated summa cum laude from Stern College, earning a BA in Jewish Studies. Mrs. Munk holds an MA in Secondary Jewish Education from the Azrieli Graduate School of Jewish Education and Administration. In her tenure as the Assistant Principal and Director of Judaic Studies at Ulpanat Orot in Toronto, and prior to that, as Tanach and Jewish History teacher, Israel Guidance Counselor and basketball coach at Rae Kushner Yeshiva High School, Mrs. Munk earned a reputation as a warm, caring and innovative educator with high standards of scholarship and sensitivity to the needs of each individual student. Most importantly, Mrs. Munk is a dedicated wife and mother of 3 sons and 2 proud Shulamith daughters.

Mrs. Ricky Gaerman | Dean of Students Mrs. Ricky Gaerman is committed to developing a dynamic, student-centered, and positive learning environment where students grow, progress, reflect, and ultimately thrive as learners, young adults, and citizens of the modern world. While Mrs. Gaerman is uniquely skilled at adapting research-based pedagogies to help students with diagnosed and undiagnosed learning differences meet their short and long term academic goals, she is equally passionate about creating opportunities for students of all levels to develop and refine their academic selves. Mrs. Gaerman holds a dual bachelor’s degree in philosophy and psychology from Brooklyn College (CUNY) and a master’s degree in literacy and learning differences from Teacher’s College Columbia University. Mrs. Gaerman is currently enrolled in Azrieli’s Executive Doctoral Program in Leadership in Jewish Education. Mrs. Gaerman attended the Harvard Principal’s Center and Hidden Sparks trainings. She has years of experience working with students in both clinical and school settings, including HAFTR Middle School and Columbia University’s Dean Hope Center for Educational Services.
