Mrs. Linda Kastriner

Linda Kastriner is honored to be a part of the Shulamith High School faculty. She has been a teacher within the Five Towns yeshiva community for more than 23 years. Currently, Mrs. Kastriner teaches a 5th grade and 7th grade math class and the Stock Market Game at the Yeshiva of South Shore, and she is an E2K instructor at TAG. Helping all children reach their potential and challenging students to be curious and take chances when learning is her passion. She especially enjoys teaching those who find math to be extra challenging. “Watching the fire ignite within a student is an addiction.” Having been an E2K facilitator for nearly 20 years has inspired Mrs. Kastriner to help her students know that there is always more than one way to solve a problem. Project based instruction and centers are a common occurrence in her classrooms. Allowing students to access challenging content and actively engage in real-world meaningful projects creates an energy among the students while encouraging critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, and communication skills.
