Social Emotional Wellness

Educating from head to heart.

Our curriculum extends beyond the academic into the social spectrum through a proactive approach to helping young girls grow into young women. Our education incorporates the head and heart, essential elements to help girls navigate the world of adulthood. Topics that our skilled educators will run workshops on include:

STUDY SKILLS
I’m so stressed. How can I manage my time?

BODY IMAGE
Do I look good in this outfit? Does it flatter me?

INTEGRITY
What if my friend really pressures me to give her help on a test? How do I let people know they can trust me?

DIGITAL CITIZENSHIP
My parents always say that I should have real conversations. Isn’t texting really like talking?

SELF-ESTEEM
Am I good enough? Does anyone like me?

DEVELOP GROWTH MINDSET
How can I be the best me? Am I open to change?

RESILIENCE
How can she say that? It was so good and I worked so hard and it still didn’t work!

FRIENDSHIP SKILLS
What could make me a better friend? What do you look for in a friend?

PEER PRESSURE
Should I do something just because my friends are doing it? How do you say “no” to a group activity?

EMPOWERMENT
Become the architect of your dreams.

We want to empower our students as Jewish girls to believe that they can chart their own course for the future. Our academic, social, and extracurricular programs are guided by the principle of giving girls knowledge, confidence, and courage in order to make a positive contribution to the world. Our girls will have the tools to speak up, stand up, and take a seat at the table. By recognizing their inner beauty and tzelem elokim, every one of our girls can realize her full potential. To that end, we have many courses and programs dedicated to empowerment and confidence building.
